Have you ever wanted something so bad to happen that you throw your self into prayers. You pray and and you pray and you almost become exhausted trying to get your message to God. All you are hoping is that God hears you and he moves on your behalf. I have been there, I believe I am there now. What I have learned however is that you have to pray and then have faith that God will move. You must also consider if your prayers are in the Lord's will. Meaning, does your prayers align with what God has lined up for your life. One thing I learned is that sometimes, praying and waiting can be frustrating. How are we suppose to deal with the frustration of waiting, praying, and having faith things will happen?
I know you are looking for me to say something so profound that would ease your worries and make the intensity go away. Once you pray and turn it over to the Lord, that is when your faith comes in.
Hebrew 11:
1 -2The fundamental fact of existence is that this trust in God, this faith, is the firm foundation under everything that makes life worth living. It's our handle on what we can't see. The act of faith is what distinguished our ancestors, set them above the crowd.
The scripture above explains exactly what faith is. It is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen. I wanted to get a more detailed account of what faith is so I googled it of course. Different people described it in different manners. The one that makes the most sense to me reads: Faith is belief with strong conviction; firm belief in something for which there may be no tangible proof; complete trust;
So basically, we are suppose to believe in something with all our heart that's has no real proof that it can come to pass. We are suppose to trust God that it will happen. Well, that is hard to swallow. And God knows this, that is why he told us to have the faith of a mustard seed. If you ever seen a mustard seed, then you would know that it is very very small. Once you pray, its time to have faith that God will move in your life. Do not worry, or try to do things on your own. All you need is mustard seed faith and wait for God. The one thing I try to do is remember the thousands of other time God came through for me on time. So often we are so wrapped up into what we want to happen at that time, we forget what God has done for us in the past. Let His works for you in the past help grow your faith. Don't be frustrated, keep your faith and wait for God to move. Until next time...
