Seasons

I grew up in Florida. Being from there we was robbed of the opportunity to see different seasons. No fall, winter, spring, then summer. Just hot or cold. After two years in Charlotte, NC I was able to see just how it is for seasons to change and it is just as easy to recognize it. As fall approaches and the leaves begin to change colors, I see that it is time to bring my summer to an end and get ready for my new season ahead. Life is the same way, certain situations you experience are seasonal and we as Christians must be able to recognize this and act accordingly.
There are some people in your life that are seasonal. They were placed in you life for a time. Depending on the role they have in your life, it may be hard for you to see that their time is up and its time to move on. Seasonal situations can also refer to jobs or activities. Perhaps you are at work knowing that you are employed in an area that does not provide advancement or security...its time to let the season change and move on.
Ecclesiastes 3:1-8
There's an opportune time to do things, a right time for everything on the earth:

2 -8 A right time for birth and another for death,
A right time to plant and another to reap,
A right time to kill and another to heal,
A right time to destroy and another to construct,
A right time to cry and another to laugh,
A right time to lament and another to cheer,
A right time to make love and another to abstain,
A right time to embrace and another to part,
A right time to search and another to count your losses,
A right time to hold on and another to let go,
A right time to rip out and another to mend,
A right time to shut up and another to speak up,
A right time to love and another to hate,
A right time to wage war and another to make peace.

Eccelesiastes says it best by reminding us there is a time and a season for everything. We must all continue to strengthen ourselves in Christ so that we may use our spiritual eyes to recognize season endings. There are some people who will not let a particular person go knowing their season in your life is over, I pray for your boldness to just let go. There are people stuck in dead end jobs and won't leave, I pray that you recognize its time for the season to change and move on. There are some people set in their ways that they pay no attention to new ideas, I pray for your revelation. Embrace the seasons changing. The end results are tremendous. Look forward to more opportunities and more experiences. It also strengthens your faith walk. Until next time...
