I laugh when I hear men say that they are going to church to find a good woman. Then I start to feel sorry for the women that get caught up and deceived by the wolves in sheep's clothing. I start to feel sorry for the men looking for "good women" in church and they end up finding the woman who came to church only to find a good man. Why do men and woman find it necessary to come to church to find their mate knowing that they themselves are not where they should be in their walks with God? I encourage men and women to beware, there are bad intentions lurking in the mist.
There are people with bad intentions everywhere in the church. Some people come to church just to get money. Some people come to church to impress others. Some people come to church out of pure routine. Then there are those who come to church to find mates. Many times men and women are deceived by these people and follow lust instead of what thus says the Lord. In the end, they are let down every time. How do we combat this? Its very simple, God gives us instructions on how to deal with everything, including dating.
There are many scriptures that focus on Christian dating. Check out this website that gives many accounts on the way Christians should go about dating.

I Thessalonians 4:1-8
1 -3 One final word, friends. We ask you—urge is more like it—that you keep on doing what we told you to do to please God, not in a dogged religious plod, but in a living, spirited dance. You know the guidelines we laid out for you from the Master Jesus. God wants you to live a pure life.
Keep yourselves from sexual promiscuity.
4 -5Learn to appreciate and give dignity to your body, not abusing it, as is so common among those who know nothing of God.
Many time your guard is not up at church. Sometimes we tend to feel like nothing bad can happen to us. However, the doors of the church is open to everyone. And there is no one without sin. Read, study, and be ready to deal with those who mean you no good. Until next time...
