These past few months God has taken me on a faith walk I believe I really needed. Not to say that he is finished teaching me a lesson and showing me things, but I have learned so much as a result of the things he has taken. I felt like the life was sucked out of me and I had to start all over again with my life. Nevertheless, I never gave up! I just listened to the Lord and let him lead me. Slowly but surely, I see some things being restored, and some things are brand new and putting me on another level. At this point, I can't help but wonder, will I be able to handle the promotion.
Shelt told me something the other day that was rather interesting. He said "God will take you to a point where any blessing that happens in your life, you can only give thanks to Him". In other words, God will make a situation look immpossible and be the on time God He is just to show you He is in control. Has He been like that in your life? He has in mine! I feel like everything is falling in place for me right now and the only person I can thank for this is God! No manager, no bestfriend, not my mother, not my father, not my sisters, no one but God has saw me through this phase of my life. I just need to be sure as I proceed that I continue to identify God as the person guiding me where I should go.
So many times people get blessed and forget who blessed them. It becomes "I" did this, and "I" did that. I want to be able to handle my promotion and let God shine through me so that others can see just how powerful He is.
Anything that happens, any successes that I gain, it is all God and I would be willing to shout that to the Earth!
1 Chronicles 22:11 (Whole Chapter)
"So now, son, God be with you. God-speed as you build the sanctuary for your God, the job God has given you. And may God also give you discernment and understanding when he puts you in charge of Israel so that you will rule in reverent obedience under God's Revelation. That's what will make you successful, following the directions and doing the things that God commanded Moses for Israel. Courage! Take charge! Don't be timid; don't hold back. Look at this—I've gone to a lot of trouble to stockpile materials for the sanctuary of God: a hundred thousand talents (3,775 tons) of gold, a million talents (37,750 tons) of silver, tons of bronze and iron—too much to weigh—and all this timber and stone. And you're free to add more. And workers both plentiful and prepared: stonecutters, masons, carpenters, artisans in gold and silver, bronze and iron. You're all set—get to work! And God-speed!"
