Some people believe that they are Christians off the pure strength of their parents and their up bringing. To clarify what I mean, some people have never excepted Jesus Christ for themselves but believe because they have grown up in the church or they have Christian parents, or because they go to church every Sunday they are saved. This is not true. Your relationship with Jesus has to be personal. One person's salvation cannot be considered good for three other people. The Bible considers you a hypocrite if your words and your heart does not match.
I have an uncle who is a great person. He will help you at all times and will give you the shirt off his back. He is a model citizen and causes no trouble. He is just an all around great person. Unfortunately, it saddens me because he refuses to go to church and gives his life to Christ. He lives a christian lives a Christian life style but will not profess Jesus as his Lord and Savior. I pray for him daily, but I know he is set in his ways and believes he can get into heaven off his good deeds. That is not true.
Matthew 23:27-28:
27 -28"You're hopeless, you religion scholars and Pharisees! Frauds! You're like manicured grave plots, grass clipped and the flowers bright, but six feet down it's all rotting bones and worm-eaten flesh. People look at you and think you're saints, but beneath the skin you're total frauds.
The last thing you want is to be considered a fraud in God's eyes. Many people don't know or do not understand that they cannot get into heaven off "mama's prayers". If you are this person, or know someone like this it is important that it is understood that you must have your own relationship with God. There is no other way. Salvation is FREE, get yours today. The price was paid along time ago so take advantage of the opportunity.
