One thing I am finding on my rise to the top is Satan's constant attempts to pull me back down. Its not in areas I would expect him to be. He's going in for areas that near and dear to me and throwing in all kinds of distractions. However, when I finally gave my whole life over to the Lord, I asked Him to please help me to see if a situation is right and if a situation is wrong. Ask and you shall receive. So even when Satan attempts to attack me in places in my life that would really effect me, I am able to recognize his doings and rebuke him in the name of Jesus.
Its important that you are able to see who from who and what from what. Satan is crafty and able to disguise his self to slither his way into your life and into situations that you would never expect him to be in. It is a constant battle and in order to stay on your toes, you have to be protected by the word of God. In wars, the enemy never calls you up and tells you where they are going to attack next. The only thing you can do is wait and be prepared for anything. In order to be prepared, you have to study the word of God and practice the commandments listed.
This morning I was reading about fake people and how their words do not match their hearts.
Proverbs 26:24-26
24 -26 Your enemy shakes hands and greets you like an old friend,
all the while conniving against you. When he speaks warmly to you, don't believe him for a minute;
he's just waiting for the chance to rip you off. No matter how cunningly he conceals his malice,
eventually his evil will be exposed in public.
Be aware of those around you. Not everyone means you good. I will restate this, study you Bible. It is there to help you recognize Satan and be able to stand in the spiritual battle of your life. Until next time...
