I'm not sure how your college years were or are, but mine were wild. I "lived it up" making sure I didn't miss a party, a step show I joined a sorority, a traveled, and a long the way I actually went to class. It was a crazy time in my life. With all that I had going on I barely made time for God. I only made reference to his existence when I went home to my parent's house (both pastors) and played Christian. When college was over and I moved away and started to grow up, it then became clear to me just how bad I disrespected God, myself and my family. I was ashamed and begin to wonder if I could redeem my self or even be welcomed in the kingdom again.
Many times we sin and we lived so outside the will of God we think that we can't get back in. This is not true at all. God is a forgiving God and wants you to embrace his presence in your life. He wants you to have a relationship. We all fall short of the glory of God. Seek forgiveness for your sins, bounce back and come back strong IN THE NAME OF JESUS.

30 -32There was a time not so long ago when you were on the outs with God. But then the Jews slammed the door on him and things opened up for you. Now they are on the outs. But with the door held wide open for you, they have a way back in. In one way or another, God makes sure that we all experience what it means to be outside so that he can personally open the door and welcome us back in.
Once I let God back into my life I didn't try to forget my past. Nor have I tried to hide it. I simply use it as a reminder of what I cannot go back to. I tell others about it so they know that they are not the only one who experience that feeling of worthlessness to God. God will knock you out in a way the only way you can get back up is through Him. We are all Jesus Cousin (Christians Over Coming Ugly Sins)
