Many people wonder what their purpose on this earth is. They wonder to themselves what are they placed here to do. They do not take the time to stand back and look at their lives and figure out what they are good at. There is a difference between your passion and your gift(s). You may be passionate about singing but you may have the gift of gab. You may be passionate about acting but you may have the gift of scribe. Many times people are not passionate about there gifts which hurts them if they do not realize it. The Lord gives us these gifts because HE knows that if we were to use them at their full potential, we would be blessed more than we could have ever imagined. For those that do not know what their gift may be, just look at everything that you are capable of doing and see which one comes easiest to you. Which one feels natural and become passionate about perfecting that gift. If you use that gift how God intended us to use our gifts, we will see that we will be blessed and we will flourish. I leave you with this jewel, Be Passionate about your Gift and not Passionate about your passion!
Romans 12
6 -8If you preach, just preach God's Message, nothing else; if you help, just help, don't take over; if you teach, stick to your teaching; if you give encouraging guidance, be careful that you don't get bossy; if you're put in charge, don't manipulate; if you're called to give aid to people in distress, keep your eyes open and be quick to respond; if you work with the disadvantaged, don't let yourself get irritated with them or depressed by them. Keep a smile on your face.
