Sometimes I have to go back and remind myself that the SAME GOD that brought me out of my last situation is the SAME GOD that has the SAME POWER to bring me out of my current situation. That has been proven to me time and time again. Recently, literally two days ago, I was struggling to sell at my job. I had went about 2 to 3 weeks barely selling anything and I was ready to quit. I was asking the Lord what was I doing wrong until one day the Lord revealed to me that maybe I should look in the mirror because this is what you asked for and I gave it to you! So I took a look in the mirror wondering what I was going to see and all I saw was my reflection staring back at me. Then it hit me like a mac truck! YOU ARE THE PROBLEM, and I immediately thought back to one of the entries that I wrote about looking in the mirror. I asked the Lord for a job that will allow me to make a lot of money and have the freedom to pursue my acting career and he gave it to me. The only problem was was that it did not look like what I pictured it to be. The one thing that was missing was ME putting in the work to make it work. Faith without works is dead (James 2:20) I immediately prayed and asked the Lord to change me on the inside and help me make this work. I began to practice my sales spiel and I got so extra training and I can tell you right now that everything has changed around. I am selling more and I have a new found excitement about my job and my life. The point that I am trying to make is to never give up on the Lord or yourself. When it seems like things are impossible and you don't see a way out, DO NOT give up on GOD because HE is the SAME GOD that got you out before and HE CAN AND WILL do it again. Be strong, patient and don't for to pray!
