At some point you need to sit back and check out the interaction you have with all people. Are you the type of person who prefers to only be around people who look like you, who are from the same tax bracket, who matches your style of dress, who speaks your language, who been to college, who are from a certain area? Is this you? If so, its really time to check yourself. As a Christian, it is our job to interact with everyone and draw all souls to Christ. Not just the people we went to school with, or the people we feel comfortable around.
Jesus didn't have a certain people he ministered to. Everyone's soul and salvation was important. Whether it be a rich man or a poor man - healthy or sick. In reality, everyone needs Christ and it starts with people being able to see the Christ in you.
Do not be the type of Christian who will only witness in comfort zones. Step outside of your bubble and lend a helping hand to someone who looks nothing like you. Tell someone about Christ even if they are a millionaire and you barely have a dime in your pocket. Don't discriminate when in comes to the Lord.
James 2
1 -4My dear friends, don't let public opinion influence how you live out our glorious, Christ-originated faith. If a man enters your church wearing an expensive suit, and a street person wearing rags comes in right after him, and you say to the man in the suit, "Sit here, sir; this is the best seat in the house!" and either ignore the street person or say, "Better sit here in the back row," haven't you segregated God's children and proved that you are judges who can't be trusted?
Until Next Time...
